This publisher's version of The Courage to Stand Alone is a copy of the original version which I transcribed from the original audio tapes and had published in 1997.
Mahesh Bhatt has copied my original version and added his own introduction. This does not make him the author, but it's perfectly fine that he reprinted the book because people all over the world are wanting to hear U.G.'s message.
However, recently Non-Duality Press asked to republish the book, which gave me the opportunity I had long desired to make my original transcription more accurate, as well as update my epilogue and add two new introductions by close friends of U.G.'s. U.G. never wrote a book. All the books we have are transcriptions of his conversations with friends, but he always insisted that the books of his conversations should have no copyright. Thus, this book and others have been reprinted in India, and other countries, and translated into many languages -- all freely and without copyright. As the original transcriber and editor of this conversation, I recommend that the new printing by Non-duality is the most accurate and true edition at this time -- not to mention the beauty of the cover photos!
